We have attached a SAN to one of our SQL Server 2000 boxes. I want the default drives for data and logs to change to the SAN. I tried to change the model database thru EM but that didn't work. I tried to detach model but that didn't work either.
Is it possible to change the default drives so that when a new database is created the data and log files will default to the SAN drives?
Thanks,

Dan D.In Enterprise Manager, right click the server, choose properties, and you
can change the default locations for data and log files on the Database
Settings tab.
